City & Guilds/Rail Operations NVQ Level 2

To achieve this level candidates must complete five core mandatory units common to each group and four or five optional units reflecting their job roles and responsibilities:

Please Note: This NVQ is only available if in employment with a railway company as a Train Driver

201: Prepare to undertake duties (mandatory)

202: Assist in the provision of a safe and secure work environment (mandatory)

203: Obtain and communicate information (mandatory)

204: Develop and maintain productive working relationships (mandatory)

205: Maintain and develop your knowledge, understanding and skills (mandatory)

In addition to the above, each pathway has other mandatory units and, in some cases, optional units, as set out below.
